Great Pyramid of Giza

One of the oldest and largest pyramids of the world, the Great Pyramid of Giza has been astounding people since its construction in the golden age of Egyptian Empire in 2540 BC. Also known as Pyramid of Khufu or Pyramid of Cheops, this wondrous place is believed to be a monument of the great king Khufu of the fourth dynasty. The pyramid has been reserved in a great condition over the centuries and doesn’t stop surprising the architects and builders all around the world. The pyramid has been constructed from huge stone blocks. Using numerous techniques that the architects of the time were expert at; the Egyptians were able to create the tallest pyramid which is still standing tall and proud today.
